Curupixa Floors Curupixa originates for South America, typically from Guyana and regions of the Amazon. It is resistant to fungus and is not as hard or durable as other hardwoods on the market. It is also noted to have no apparent odor. Curupixa, though not as hard as other wood surfaces, is mainly used for flooring, plywood, paneling, window & door framing, and construction.
