Beyond its beauty, Brazilian Eucalyptus remains smooth under friction and is resistant to decay and insects. Apart from flooring, Brazilian Eucalyptus is also used for boat building, joinery and furniture.

Appearance: the sapwood is light brown while the heartwood ranges from pale pink to red-brown.
Grain: straight and interlocked.
