African Mahogany Floors
African mahogany is produced in Africa and is related to other members of the mahogany family. It is classified as khaya specie and is typically lighter in color than other mahoganies. It is unique because of its striped ribbon like appearance. It however darkens in color with age. Common applications of African mahogany include furniture, flooring, boat building, plywood and paneling.
